Alumiyummmm

So my buddy tells me this winter he's building a cb750 chop thing all out of aluminum. I had no idea it was ALL aluminum. Its fucking rad as hell. Aluminum frame that the top half can lift off to pull the engine out. 4 cyl magneto, go-no-go gauge foot pegs that fold down so you dont bush up your shins walking around it (like my shovel does). Its made almost entirely of scrap aluminum from his shop. Says he has less than $800 in the whole bike. FML....

Stolen...

But couldnt resist...this is some funny shit. Go support these fellas: http://thebdac.blogspot.com/

Browsing

Not exatly sure why...but today I found myself looking for parts to put together another XS650...but in street tracker fashion. Like to build something for my misses...maybe this is the ticket

Health Care reform

Doctors vs. Gun owners

DOCTORS:

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is
700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians
per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now think about this:

GUNS:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths
per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths
per gun owner is .000188.

Statistics courtesy of FBI

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So, statistically, doctors are approximately

9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT

ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please alert your friends
to this
alarming threat.

We must ban doctors
before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Diggers in a blur

Went down to Diggers Speed Shop last weekend. Pictures came out blurry...but it was fitting for the weekend.

Thanks to Lance and Dan for opening up the shop doors and supplying the great food. Had fun riding with everybody that went....

Tunes

Saw Scott Biram and Left Lane Cruiser play at Macs in Lansing last night. Good to see friends from Kzoo and Alma there too.

The place is a shithole to say the least...rad in its own way. Their ATM sign was fitting for the overall theme of the joint.

Greatest looking truck ever

Ive always wanted to own a 50's era pickup. My plates are full at the moment, but if I ever get the space and means to go for it I will definatley be looking for a 57 or 58 Dodge Sweptside 100. Im a Chrysler guy to the core, but I never liked the looks of the early Dodge trucks. The front ends just didnt add up to me. Maybe it was because they were aimed towards farm/work trucks and it didnt matter what the hell they looked like.....But the old Sweptsides look great...except Im still not sure on the front ends, but the rear portions make up for it....Maybe someday

EVERGREEN

Best year ever. Most everybody bailed out this year, but the weather was the best, the riding was great, the few that showed made it. Its not where you are its who your with. Cant wait until the next go around....More goodness to come.

Sunny Outside

Finally getting around to get my 62' on the road. Had to push it outside to take pictures for the insurance company. This is really the first time Ive seen it outside in the sun since its been done. It was cold, wintery and dark all the other times. The flake color on the roof is growing on me.....as are all the last minute black pieces. Hope to drive it soon

Wet Dream

Saw this last weekend. Very clean 305 Dream

Giftings

I was greeted with a nice present in my mail can the other day....Got some goods from the fellas over at BDAC. Thanks Pappy. If we are ever cool enough to create stickers, Ill return the favor....so very doubtful

Family Cruisin

So I finally came to the realization that my hot rod was about the most impractical car ever built so it went up for sale. My son Colton, was born on May 5th, while he and momma were still up at the hospital my hot rod went down the road to its new owner. So.. The search was on for a new "family" hot rod. Found this baby down in Cleveland and scooped her up for the right price. Put on some new shoes, a stereo and some pinstriping and she's ready to pound down some miles.
